You're invited to join us for our 4th RADIANT UK Annual General Meeting!


This event promises to be an exceptional opportunity for networking and professional growth, with the opportunity to learn more about how to start and grow your research journey. Our conference is designed to inspire trainees to pursue and develop their radiology research experience, and to inform our delegates of how we have been working to support aspiring researchers with our ongoing projects over the last year. 


We are also delighted to announce that we are accepting submissions for eposters and oral presentations at this year's AGM. Present your work and be in with a chance to win a prize!



RADIANT UK AGM 2026 Abstract Submission Guidelines


We are pleased to be accepting abstract submissions for eposter/oral presentation at the RADIANT UK AGM taking place on Tuesday 16th June 2026. Please ensure that you read all of the following prior to submission.


  • The word count must not exceed 250 words (not including section titles, authors/affiliations and references).

  • 1 figure or table is allowed per abstract.

  • By submitting an abstract, you are confirming on behalf of all co-authors that this is your own original work, and that you have approval from all co-authors for submission.

  • Should your abstract be accepted:

    • You agree to the publication of your eposter/presentation on our various platforms including the RADIANT website and social media channels.

    • The submitter and/or co-author(s) must register and attend the event. We cannot provide certificates for co-authors who do not attend the meeting (without exception).

  • Please ensure that there is no patient identifiable information within your abstract, and all included material has appropriate permissions and references.

  • We welcome work which has been accepted or presented at another conference. However, please note that work that has been presented at a previous RADIANT meeting will not be accepted.

  • If submitting more than one abstract, please submit each one separately.


  • Accepted abstracts:

    • Scientific projects

    • Original research

    • Audit/QI projects

    • Educational/Pictorial projects

    • Interesting cases

 

  • Please use the following format for abstract submissions:

    • Scientific projects, Original research, Audit/QI projects

      • Background

      • Methods

      • Results

      • References (if applicable)

      • Summary of content

      • References (if applicable)

 

  • Please be aware that all submissions are subject to proof reading and editing, and we may ask for rectifications before accepting an abstract or eposter/oral presentation. We reserve the right to reject your eposter should it not meet the standards suitable for presentation.


  • ​There will be a number of prizes on offer, and all prize winners will be announced during the meeting.  The decision of the judges is final.
